I've helped hundreds of leaders step into the spotlight—often after years of being the best-kept secret in their industry. And I created Composure Digital to help you do it, too.
Despite being a top performer, I felt stuck in my career. Beloved for my work, but constantly overlooked as a leader.
As a writer and strategist, my eye for the bigger picture quickly made me an essential member of every team I joined. I’d earn the trust of major clients, reimagine internal creative processes, and turn tough conversations into trust-building moments.
Yet, year after year, my performance reviews raved that I’d be a great leader one day...if I smiled more and talked less. In my heart I knew the truth: speaking up already made me an invaluable leader. So I started my own business.
When acquisition placed a client's company firmly in the B2B space, they quickly learned that the old marketing tactics weren't going to work. Their new executive audience ignored the ads, the emails, and the company LinkedIn page. They didn't want to be sold to.
Buyers wanted relationships with peers and experts. My client's leaders, used to hiding behind the company logo, struggled to show up authentically—and their marketing teams weren't prepared to help.
Then I watched an industry-leading brand fumble because their leaders were silent, too.

I've been singing in ensembles my whole life—from choirs to musicals to cover bands. I've even performed at Carnegie Hall twice!
On the side, I exercise a beginner's mindset with piano and ukulele.

When I'm not making music, I'm enjoying it on the dance floor. I swing dance at least once each week and sometimes stretch myself into salsa and waltz, but am equally thrilled to do the Electric Slide whenever I get the chance!

Each spring and fall, I spend my weekends venturing into Washington's forests in search of its best edible mushrooms. I even guide field trips for new members of the Puget Sound Mycological Society!
